Teaching

Matt has been extremely fortunate to have excellent teachers and has a strong belief of paying it forward to the next generation of percussion students. Matt teaches undergraduates at Yale College and privately to high school aged students. In addition to teaching 1 on 1 Matt helped launch a new series of concerts for children with The Percussion Collective. The goal is to engage with younger audiences and create meaningful musical interactions with them and help plant the seed for a deeper love and understanding of classical music
